After Registration

My college is registered for SENSE 2020. What happens next?

Please note that registration is not considered complete until the college submits the signed agreement form generated at the end of the registration form. Now that you have registered for SENSE 2020, please keep in mind these upcoming dates:

  1. Your SENSE Liaison will e-mail the Campus Coordinator a link to the 2020 SENSE Procedure Guide on May 6, along with additional details on the SENSE 2020 administration and access to the Members Only section of the SENSE website.

  2. Prior to the end of the spring 2020 academic term, the President's Memo to Faculty, Staff, and Administrators should be distributed. This memo, available on the Members Only Survey Administration page, endorses the SENSE project and encourages participation in the survey administration process.

  3. Orientation Webinars are scheduled for the following dates and will provide a further overview of the administration and sampling processes for the fall 2020 administration.

    • Wednesday, May 13, 2020
    • Thursday, May 14, 2020
  4. Key dates for optional SENSE administration services are outlined below. To discuss or confirm participation in these options, please contact the Center at 512-471-6807 or

    • Consortium Participation
      A group of three or more colleges with common interests, characteristics, or locations may form a SENSE consortium free of charge and receive comparative aggregated data reports and, if the group chooses, administration and analysis of a consortium additional item set. For more information about consortium membership, visit the Options and Rates page.

      Deadline to confirm consortium participation: May 11, 2020

    • Special-Focus Modules
      For an additional fee, participating SENSE colleges may add up to two Special-Focus Modules of up to 12 items each. These modules may be chosen from a collection of standard Special-Focus Modules and/or the college can opt to create custom modules. For more information about adding modules to the survey, please visit the Options and Rates page.

      Deadline to submit Special-Focus Modules: May 22, 2020

  5. A SENSE Liaison will e-mail the Campus Coordinator a link to the online data verification form on June 1 and it must be completed by June 5, 2020. Until this is completed, the Center will not pull the college’s random sample of selected courses to be surveyed.

  6. Invoices for SENSE 2020 will be mailed to the college president on or around October 1 with payment due December 2, 2020. Please refer to the Options and Rates page for more detailed Invoicing and Payment information and instructions.
